Terry Moore is the founder and executive director of Victory International Associated Ministries.
Having answered the call to prepare for the Gospel ministry in 2009, Terry enrolled at Baptist Bible College and Seminary, in Clark’s Summit, PA. He graduated in 2012. In October 2012, Terry accepted the call to pastor Boyd’s Corners Bible Church, in Cameron, NY. By God’s grace, providence, and leading, BCBC grew from a remnant congregation of 15 individuals to a thriving ministry with an average Sunday attendance of over 60. Despite the spiritual and ministerial growth that was happening at Boyd’s Corners Bible Church, Terry, and his wife, Laura, began to sense God leading them into a new ministry field – international missions.
Terry made his first journey to Kenya in 2017. He, and the ministry partners, spoke at two Pastoral Conferences – one in the Mombasa area of eastern Kenya, and one at the Independent Gospel Missions of Kenya Bible College in Bungoma, western Kenya.
Terry was convicted of the need to develop and implement a ministry to support the work that God was already doing in Kenya through the Spiritually gifted brothers and sisters that God has raised up there. Out of this conviction was borne Victory International Associated Ministries, Inc. (VIAM).
To date, VIAM has partnered with five Kenyan Pastors for the purpose of edifying their respective ministries in western Kenya. At a ministry conference in the Spring 2020, Victory International Associated Ministries of Western Kenya was inaugurated and this September the VIAM Bible Institute was launched.
Terry and his wife, Laura, live in Prattsburgh, New York. They have four daughters, two at home and two in college. Laura has taught music at Prattsburgh Central School since August 2000. Terry is employed as a full-time Emergency Technician with Finger Lakes Health, and presently leads a new church plant in Prattsburgh, Believer’s Fellowship of Prattsburgh.
