The sharer during our next meeting on Friday, July 26, 2019 will be Pastor Micky Cavanaugh.

The following is from Pastor Micky Cavanaugh:

“I have pastored at the Gillett Baptist Church for the last 6 years. I have been involved in a variety of organized youth activities in and around the Gillett area for many years; through Little League, The Troy Area Christian Council, North Country Baptist Youth Ministries (NCBYM), and of course through the Gillett Baptist Church.

This is my 7th Summer of being involved in organizing and laboring as a counselor for Youth Camp at His Thousand Hills in Wellsboro. For two weeks each Summer NCBYM organizes two week-long camps for youth; the first camp is for teens, and the second for those who have completed 3rd grade through 6th grade.

What I want to share with you at the Friday morning breakfast is concerning the importance of pouring ourselves out into the next generation and living Coram Deo – (before the face of God). The theme verse for my sharing time is Proverbs 20:7

“The righteous who walks in his integrity— blessed are his children after him!”

Pastor Micky has been married for 18 years to his wife Jill and they have two boys, Caleb 17 and Camlan 11.”

The ACTS bi-weekly Friday meetings are open to all and begin at 7:00am. The location for our regular ACTS Twin Tiers meetings is the Elmira Holiday Inn. We meet in the Langdon Room of Anthony’s Restaurant adjacent to the hotel lobby. Breakfast options include a $9.00 per person full breakfast and a $7.00 lite breakfast.
